JUNIOR HIGH CONCERT BAND

 

 

The Junior High Concert Band begins it's school season immediately after the Marching Band Season. Our first home concert is the WINTER CONCERT that will be performed on December 9th, 2008

We continue our Concert Season into January, but most of February is spent with all students preparing for our Solo/Ensemble Contest that will be held February 26th in Manilla.

After our solo/ensemble season, we go back and prepare for our SPRING CONCERT on April 21st.as well as the DENISON JUNIOR HIGH LARGE GROUP CONTEST. Our Junior High Concert Band has received consistent "I" or "I+" ratings at the Denison Large Group contest. After the Denison contest, the Junior High Concert Band then helps the high school concert band with Manning's Commencement in Mid-May. 8th Graders are encouraged to perform with the high school band members at commencement.

The final part of the year for the Junior High Band is spent in review of our Marching Band Curriculum so we will be prepared for the street marching involved for our Memorial Day Services.
